As the fall semester begins and traffic picks up across Central Texas, it’s the perfect time to rethink the way we commute. That’s why ConnectSmart is proud to support Movability’s Mobility Games: Carpool Edition —a regional effort to help commuters save time, money, and reduce stress behind the wheel. 🛣️

Throughout the month of August, Central Texas commuters are invited to join in the challenge by using the ConnectSmart app to carpool. Whether you're driving to work, heading to class, or navigating your daily errands, ConnectSmart makes it easy to plan your route, carpool with a buddy, and track your sustainable trips—all while earning Make Trip Rewards along the way. These reward Coins can be used to purchase gift cards or an Uber ride in the ConnectSmart Wallet.

Carpool Week 🚘

During Carpool Week, the last week of August, every trip counts even more. Commuters who carpool at least once that week with the ConnectSmart app will be automatically entered to win one of five $100 H-E-B or Amazon gift cards from Movability. It’s their way of saying thank you for choosing smarter, cleaner travel options. 💳

Carpooling with ConnectSmart helps reduce congestion, strengthens community ties, and supports a more sustainable region. To instant carpool, just join one (or more) of the Austin carpool groups by typing in the name:
