Carpool Your Way with ConnectSmart

Carpool Your Way with ConnectSmart, we’re encouraging Austinites to reset their routines and make carpooling part of the plan. When you carpool around town using the ConnectSmart app, you’ll earn ConnectSmart Coins.

Getting Started is Simple

  • Download the ConnectSmart Mobility app from the App Store or Google Play

  • Create your account

  • When your carpool buddy is in the car, go to the carpool tab and start an instant carpool

  • Or, if you want to match for a scheduled carpool instead, join one of our Austin-based carpool groups:

    • Central ATX / Downtown

    • North ATX

    • East Austin

    • South ATX

    • San Marcos

    • Bastrop

    • Northwest ATX

    • Northeast ATX

    • SE ATX/Del Valle / Airport

    • Southwest ATX

    • RoundRock / Hutto / Georgetown

    • Austin Carpooling Groups - Google My Maps​

  • Earn reward Coins after your trip that you can use to purchase gift cards or pay for an Uber ride​
